Offered for sale is a used HP 7580B, 8 pen Plotter. This plotter was built by HP back in the days that they were still an instruments company, therefore it was engineered to perform and last. This plotter works flawlessly and comes with everthing to get you up and plotting with a pen plotter in a hurry. Being a pen plotter makes this is a vector graphics plotter in which lines, arcs, and circles are drawn to a high degree of accuracy using actual indelible ink. The modern inkjet plotters are faster, but line and circles are placed on the paper with a raster scan printhead, which can lead to aliasing affects on sloped lines, arcs, and circles. Modern inkjet plotters also suffer from expensive ink costs and they can often be guilty of making prints that are easily ruined by moisture or exposure to light. The plotter comes with:
